Provided by YP.comI'm so delighted I just received my third shipment of Somerset Bay Furniture/ Bella Notte linens from Cottage Chic last evening. I had them ship everything as it was ready.
They first shipped me a beautiful 32" round silver mirror which looks perfect hung in my foyer. It took about 10 days from NC to LA. Not too bad I thought. In second shipment was my a vanilla bean Summmerland key bed. It came white glove delivery so they moved my previous bed to the cellar which I was so thankful to their shipping company. That was above and beyond!
I used their design services to complete my entire master bedroom. I just sent photos and dimensions via email. They were so patient and spent hours with me on the phone. The bedding took 4 weeks once I ordered. It took me quiet awhile to decide on colors. My Modern History manhatten silver coffee table arrived lastly. This coffee table is off the charts amazing! Way beyond my expectations.

Provided by YP.comJane I believe her name was sent me all kinds of bedding samples to create the bed of my dreams. She made a custom designed drawing helping me to see what my bed would look like. So helpful. i would strongly recommend this if you have a problem visualizing. My bedding arrived. Im thrilled! Cottage Chic made it a easy fun purchase. Im sure I'll be enjoying it for many years.

Provided by YP.comI was redoing my entire house and I had been searching for just the particular look when I came across their website. I ordered lots of bella notte linens....AMAZING and some somerset bay pieces. Know that this things are made to order so they will take a few months....but it's definitely worth the wait. Once the whole house came together we were beyond happy.

Provided by YP.comI want to first start off by saying that I'm a very visual person. I knew that I needed help with my spaces, but I didn't really know where to start. I was looking for Bella Notte bedding for my house and it was upon complete coincidence that I found Cottage Chic and fell in love with the website! So, I took a leap and emailed to see if one of the designers could help me. They were able to provide me with personalized sketch ups of my spaces and helped me pick out the ideal colors/ fabrics to use. This was perfect for me because I have a hard time visualizing what everything would look like together. Most of what I decided on they had in stock. However, there were some pieces that we had to order. This was the worst part because I couldn't wait to see everything together! In the end I'm thrilled with how everything turned out and couldn't be more thankful for their help :)

Provided by YP.comI placed my first order with Cottage Chic on the 10th of last month. The first time I called I was greeted warmly and received assistance with buying new sheets for my bed. I was told to take a look at the Matteo linens. The woman that I spoke to that day raved about how wonderful they are. So, later that night I placed my order. In about four days I received the sheets. Only to find out that I had actually ordered a cream color instead of the white I was looking for. I sent Cottage Chic an email the next day and asked about exchanging them. I again was treated respectfully and was told that they would contact Matteo themselves and ask because they were out of the size I needed in store. Not but a couple hours later they gave me a call confirming that the exchange could be done. I was very grateful for this, of course it was initially my fault for ordering the wrong item. I returned my first order and waited about a week to receive the white sheets. .. Needless to say I am impressed with the service and am very happy with my bedding. They were thoughtful and considerate of my time and were advocates for getting me the right product. I appreciate all of their help and would order from them again.

I ordered $1200.00 of white standard sized bedding via Cottage Chic's online store. I did not receive any email confirmation but did see the charge cleared my bank. Approx. 1 week later I received only 1/2 of my order, no invoice included or explanation as to the remaining items. I waited a couple days to see if remaining order would arrive- it did not It was 2 weeks since the order was placed, so I called. I could only reach a recorded message on every attempt, asking me to leave a vm. I waited a day for a response, none came. I called again , I reached a person claiming they emailed me my receipt including a notice about a "6-8 week production time" for items they did not have in stock. Now mind you their website claims they have 3 stores to shop from. They also claimed to have attempted to call me but could not leave a message and just that day emailed me regarding this.. I checked and an email was there. How this email arrived but their claim re the initial email did not is a puzzle to me. Also my phone is digital and has no limit as to texts or voice email that can be left, so I am suspect about their claim regarding that as well.
I also requested a return authorization # to return part of the order I had received. I was told they only accept returns w/i 10 days. I argued that I had not even received my full order and was awaiting it, as they were other items that went with the item I was returning , therefore would be returning them as well but hadn't received any info regarding the 6-8 week delay.
I was told I could not cancel the remaining order as it went to production thus was considered a 'special order'. Special orders are not returnable nor refundable for store credit.
Needless to say I felt this was their error and not mine thus argued that.
After some debate they would allow me to return the sheet I had received and issued a RA#. I shipped it back that day only to have it refused by CC and come back to me with the return postage due!
I emailed them as to why ? No answer x 1 week. I then emailed and said I would let my bank follow up as I was filing a dispute. That got a response. They said to resend the return, they couldn't explain why it was refused. No offer to compensate for the double shipping charges over and above the initial return postage I paid. (an addition $30+)
Upon 8 weeks since my original order I still was yet to receive the remainder of my order. I emailed about that... they responded that it was going out the next day.
I received those items and emailed to receive authorization to return the items ( as I mentioned earlier they were chosen because of the sheet i had already returned). I received an email asking me why.
I shouldn't have t explain as I requested the authorization # less than 24 hours after receiving the shipment. But I did ; in response I received a seemingly terse reply that they were again "ALLOWING" me to return the item even though their policy states only one return allowed per order. Seeing that it was their need to split the order ,and didn't call to allow me the choice to cancel the order instead of waiting 2 months to receive it; I hardly felt I was receiving special consideration.
I have ordered expensive bedding from other online sites and NEVER had to go through such machinations, delays, poor communication and restrictive rules. I was told , like the previous reviewer ; that other sites don't even offer returns period thus I should consider myself lucky.
Hmmmm, not so much....

Provided by YP.comOrdered online and paid in full up front. A month later, after no word or receipt of the item, I e-mailed to ask when it would ship. I was told there is a three-month wait for this item and would I consider something else. I replied to ask questions and say I wanted the specific item but had concerns about paying up front and waiting that long. No response. I e-mailed again to express my dissatisfaction and asked if we could be refunded a portion of the payment until the item shipped. In a tactless response, I was told no, most companies charge up front before an item ships (which is simply not true) and to be grateful they were letting me use a store credit. After calling and getting ZERO sympathy or apology, I canceled the order. Needless to say, customer service here is nonexistent. Will never attempt to do business with them again, as they seem not to comprehend the necessary relationship between a paying customer and a for-profit business.
