I would get a second opinion if your horse is currently being diagnosed by Dr Hassinger or If you are looking to purchase a horse or pony from Amy Hassinger. She is actually Amy Miles and has a lot swirling around her. These are not honest people hear so please get second opinions and make sure you are present with the seller when purchasing a horse or pony.

Dr. Hassinger and his team are world class! The facility is state-of-the-art. We were greeted with enthusiasm when we arrived at the clinic. The staff helped us unload our horses and even cleaned the trailer! Dr. Hassinger was spot on in his diagnosis of Gus's lameness. He put together a comprehensive treatment plan that made sense. I would encourage anyone with a performance horse to call Dr. Hassinger!

I had years of regrettable dealings with Dr. James Hassinger and Amy Miles Hassinger (formally Milestone Farm greenville, nc) and Hassinger Equine Sales, when I lived in Apex n.c. several years ago. I trusted her by allowing her to purchase some horse investments and actually paid to have her train and care for the horses in her care. She promised to sell or lease them and that they were good value, but it literally took years and thousands and thousands of dollars. She also took money from me to purchase a trailer from a "friend" (30,500) She put the trailer in her name. I took her to court and and won a judgement for all of it, and went to relinquish everything, she hid the trailer, all of my beautiful horse gear, equipment. I found out (and have the written proof) that she was leasing in house and excepting money for my ponies/horses and charging me at the same time, receiving double the money and paying me nothing back. I know this because I was put together with these people after I moved out of North Carolina. I ended up donating the horses and ponies because of lack of funds and less than quality animals.. She had me purchase what she said was a perfect med pony from her friend Bethany, where we paid 15k (more than the asking price I found out) and this pony (Brie) turned out to be a small Large and ended up donating her after years of trying to sell or lease her. Amy Hassinger, aka, Amy Miles, aka Amy Landry, aka Amy Patrice, took advantage of me and my family because we were new to investing she took many thousands from us without batting an eye. She took many of animals to an auction and never sold one for us. We spent thousand getting them there, desperate to sell them because it has been so long and she brought them all home saying NO to all offers and we obtained the auctioneers record and many reasonable offers were made. I kept trying to reach her and she would not answer her phone and just brought them back to my farm. It was like she wanted people to think she was a big successful trainer and this also launched her into her new farm with Dr James Hassinger because they took my 30,500 and never paid the court ordered money back. Amy purchased less than quality horses and ponies for me as an investment. Her students showed them and footed me the bills. It took me years to be able to get them leased or donated. She took money from me to purchase a trailer and put her name on it. I sued her i court and won a judgement of 30k, the same year Dr James Hassinger and Amy Hassinger opened their new farm together and they never paid me one penny back. I went to relinquish the trailer, tons of horse gear, equipment and she hid everything. Please beware of the honesty and quality of these people and think twice.
