I've taken a few products in and they have been helpful and called back promptly with results. I saw another review say they deleted photos - they explicitly (as Apple does as well or any computer repair place) ask if you have your data backed up. They often do have to send things to Apple for repair but it is often faster than going directly through Apple and some products it is Apple's policy to repair or replace at their facility.

It's a shame these are the only people in town if you want to use Apple care. We will be calling Apple to complain. Had our computer in there twice. Obviously was not fixed the first time. Second time they deleted all of our pictures off of our hard drive and from our external hard drive.
