I lived in these apartments for a miserable year and a half. The apartment is spacious but the kitchen was really small, but overall I thought for the price and being inclusive it was a great deal. What I didn’t know it that I was going to have millions of tiny little roommates… aka roaches. This place is infested with them. They spray every 2 months but they only do one side of the apartment complex at a time so they just travel from one side to another… not to mention they are probably adapted to the poison already. Aside from the roaches, the management is rude and for lack of a better word, trashy. After my 6 month lease was up they raised my rent by almost 100 dollars and when I called to ask how much the same apartment was being rented for (because I thought that perhaps the price had gone up and that it why my rent increased), they where doing a move in special offering it for 100 dollars less, and then when I asked why my rent went up if they where being offered so much cheaper the manager YELLED at me for calling and acting as a “impersonator”, and hung up on me. There where many other instances where the management was very rude and hateful but overall this was a terrible experience and I would encourage anyone to only rent at Hartford if it the last desperate hope of finding a place to live. And if you do then make sure to bring some RAID!!!
