The Taylor County Community Supervision and Corrections Department is responsible for protecting the lives and properties of citizens through the custody and rehabilitation of offenders. The department is administered by the government of Taylor County in Texas. The Taylor County Community Supervision and Corrections Department supervises offenders who are sentenced to community supervision from the courts of Taylor, Callahan and Coleman counties in Texas. It administers a variety of counseling and educational programs for offenders. The department s Life Skills Program assists unemployed probationers to fulfill their financial obligations in the courts. The Taylor County Community Supervision and Corrections Department additionally operates a 50-plus-bed restitution center for male and female nonviolent property offenders.
