Miss Amys LLC is a Reggio-Emilia inspired childcare center for children twenty two months to seven years of age. Miss Amy's was founded twenty four years ago in the heart of historic Abingdon, Virginia. Our fully licensed center engages children in play-based learning, as we believe our community is also our classroom and our teacher. Child-led and child-centered learning through play and exploration shape our daily activities and projects. We are outdoors in all seasons, paying attention to nature's rhythms and cycles. We use creativity and a problem-solving approach in all our learning adventures.
