We hired JL Paving because they did some work down the street. A kid came to do the estimate and do a speck drawing for the permit. He got it all wrong and because of this we were turned down for the permit. I had to personally go to the Township and sit with the department for over an hour to get the drawing correct. Once I took care of this we received the permit. I had explained to the kid and to the owner J, that I wanted to make sure that water did not pool at the top of the driveway. I made this very clear. I admit, they did a good paving job but they did not do it so water would not pool. I texted with the owner who promised he would call and discuss this and he never did. I sent an email which was never responded to. They took the check and ran. I will not use them or recommend them to anyone because of this. They get a 3 rating only because the paving looks nice, but they did not comply with my wishes and for what we spent, they should have.
