Columbia kennels is an excellent dog school. I found the training center when we had adopted a young border-collie mix from a shelter that was too wild for us to handle. I was first at a loss for how to make my dog behave. When I went to Columbia Kennels they helped us learn how to bond with our dog, establish trust - and walked us through each step learning how to live with each other, including with our cat! It was an amazing transformation (for all of us). Pretty miraculous considering where we started. I highly recommend this down to earth and caring school and its staff.

I leave my dog at Columbia Kennels all the time. I travel a lot, and when I need a place to keep her while I am away, I trust them. They treat my dogs with care, and I have never had trouble with my dog getting sick there. If you ever need your dog to go to a clean daycare, Columbia Kennels is a good place to go.

Columbia Kennels is a place to leave your dogs & not worry about them when you travel. We have always had a problem kenneling our dogs. They don't like being put in a crate all day. We discovered that Columbia Kennels is the answer. The dogs get to play with other dogs during the day. They absolutely love it there. When I am driving down the street to take my dog to the day care, he knows where he is & starts jumping around in the car because he is so excited to get there. They cannot get through the door fast enough. In the past, I used to have to drag them into the kennel. Columbia kennels takes really good care of him and goes the extra mile to make sure he gets plenty of exercise while I am away.

Can count on them

I've never had to worry about boarding my dog before because my husband had always taken care of that whenever we went away, however my husband passed away late last summer so I had my first experience in November on my own. Our dog is now 9 years old and has always gone down to Anchors. The care and treatment they give is like these animals are all their own. Sure, they want to come back home when they are picked up, but are definitely ready for their return visit when the time comes. I highly recommend Anchors to anyone in need of an "excellent" place to board their animal.
