I reserved a full size SUV, and the specific type of vehicle was ready as promised on time. However, the vehicle was not in great condition, as cigarette burns and stains were present throughout the vehicle, as well as a lingering smoke odor. In addition, the staff was somewhat rude when I returned the car. The female manager trainee assumed I smoked in the vehicle and said twice "you do know our cars are non-smoking, don't you?". I twice had to firmly correct her by stating I don't smoke and no passenger of mine smoked in the vehicle. She indicated the car smelled like smoke - this was due to the fact other renters obviously smoked in the vehicle and she just assumed it was me without checking the records of the vehicle that indicated cigarette burns/smell were present long before I rented the vehicle. Also, Enterprise is the one company that does not provide the car full of gas to you, meaning I had to put gas in the vehicle twice (as we drove 500 miles, and the vehicle had to be returned with the same amount of gas). It is hard to estimate how much any partial level of a tank would be. Naturally by design Enterprise got the car back with more fuel in the tank that present upon the commencement of the rental; while this is a greedy practice have to admit also shrewd.
