My family loves sitting around the fireplace on cold days, but was unsure if it was safe to use. We called old hat chimney service to come out clean and inspect fireplace. They cleaned fireplace and chimney. They found our chimney cap was about to rust through and needed to be replaced. They made me a new chimney cap and installed it. Now we can use our fireplace knowing it is safe. Thank you Old Hat Chimney.

What a great job! They came in and did the work making sure my home wasn't soiled in any way. They were quiet too. I also was impressed with the way they did the fireplace insert. It was a quality job in every way. I appreciated the price. I didn't feel gouged. You really can't go wrong using their services.

We had a few changes along the way, and David was very flexible and willing to make sure we were satisfied with the results. David and crew were very curtious and neat. I would happily refer Old Hat Chimney Service to my friends and neighbors. David took time to explain the process and options we had converting our old coal fireplace over to wood burning. He gave us a very fair bid, communicated when he would arrive/depart and what would happen each day. He and his assistant worked smartly and kept the space as clean as they could given the job they were undertaking. They even got our 1920's clay pot off the roof in one piece and helped us place it in the yard as garden art. We are looking forward to the cools days to enjoy our lovely new fireplace.

I found Old Hat Chimney Service through the "Chimney Safety Institute of America". This is the first company I had called. I made an appointment for 9 AM on a Tuesday morning and Dave was on time. He greeted my dog and I with a smile.

Before, during and after the service provided, Dave explained the process of all he was doing to clean the chimney. He is very conciencous and he did a wonderful job. I gave five stars to this company because they did everything they said they would in a timely manner. The price was very reseasonable.
