I visit the salon every two weeks. They are always very friendly. Camay does a beautiful job on my nails. I love how the pink and white looks and lasts. I have never broke or chipped a nail with this application.

I was very disappointed in this salon. My mom and I get our nails done together every three weeks, and decided to try a new salon. I made the appointment for us together, and despite having tons of chairs open, they wouldn't let us sit together. The salon was VERY unclean. There were nail clippings everywhere, and the tech used 'used' drummels to file my gel manicure down. Then, she just brushed all the nail dust on the floor onto all the equipment (dryers, blocks, etc) on the floor. When I put my hands inside the dryer to dry my shellac, the dryer was filthy (with WHO'S nail dust besides mine!?). She also didn't trim my cuticles - isn't that a standard part of the manicure? I also saw another technician reuse a towel with a client that she had just used on the previous women. Don't even get me started with the fact that one client had her dog in there which is against health code (and bad for that poor dog with all the fumes!). My mom had to go back to the salon the next day because three of her shellac nails had already chipped (which usually lasts us 3 weeks). I got dark blue polish and it was all over my cuticles and sides of my fingers. I've been to a lot of salons in Grand Rapids, and this was my worst experience ever!

I finally grew all my nails out long. I asked for only a millimeter to be cut off (they were 1/4 inch long) well between her cutting and radical filing I have only a millimeter of nail overhang left. I'm pissed because I wanted then Shellacked because they were long and I wanted to save them from breaking Now there gone and I feel like I wasted $30 on nothing. The manicure was a big rip off too. Next time I'll spend the extra money somewhere where they understand what I want. Disappointed with the end product short crooked nails :(
