I have had nothing but great experiences with the bakery from Walmart in Ada. Have used them many times and always got exactly what I ordered, even to having a picture imposed on a cake we wanted of our church to use for the 60th anniversary of our church. It looked exactly like the picture I took in. I use them all the time, more convenient and always go the extra mile.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE 2 YEARS IN A ROW!!!

First time: Ordered a cake for my baby's birthday party, 1 year old. Ordered it well in advance, and on party day, went to pick it up and they had forgotten all about it. They needed an extra hour to make it, and the rushed job showed. The colors were not right (I emphasized no yellow and it turned out to be 85% yellow), it was a sheet cake which was lop sided and falling forward. I like the better cream icing, so I dealt with it.

Second time: Halloween themed party this time. Wanted to engage in useful communication with the worker so that we could design the cake I really wanted. Lady was down right rude! Refused to even consider what I was asking for. Walked in wanting a two tired, whipped icing, spider webs, filling or red icing inside. Walked out having ordered a orange 1/2 sheet cake. She wanted quick answers to the check sheet and no room for discussing options. Even though the cake order sheet online mentions filling, don't ask! Apparently they don't do that at all. I felt like it was a horrible experience yet again, I didn't order a cake I was really going to be proud of at all, and I was thoroughly disappointed. After discussing it with my husband, he talked to the local cake store and they were more than willing to work with us, very friendly and I finally got the cake I really wanted, EVEN GOT THE BETTERCREAM ICING I WANTED!! Super happy with the experience, and hopeful that this cake will be everything I wanted.

Last Note: Went to cancel the cake from Walmart only to discover they didn't even spell my daughters name correctly!! I was careful to spell it out for her, it's only three letters, not complicated!!! I will not be returning to the Walmart bakery for further events again.
