My wife and I found this little gem just the other evening and all I can say is wow! The restaurant's interior took us away from all the hustle and bustle of our busy schedule and transposed us into this glorious "Thai Get-a-way! The food was outstanding. We started out by sharing a wrap with basil and spiced chicken. It was on another level from any Thai Food we have ever had. The soft outer "shell" mixed with the chicken, fresh herbs and dipping sauce was incredible. And it just kept getting better from there when our main dishes arrived. We shared the Cashew Chicken, and Pad Ke Mow. Did I say we were served like we were family! Our waiter, who with his wife, own this little gem, was there ofr us, he helped guide us through the menu, answered our questions, and made incredible suggestion! The food was top notch, and before we left he brought out a little tasty sorbet to top off a perfect evening!

I was just treated to an absolutely FANTASTIC MEAL at a new restaurant called Thai Star, which was in Addison. I haven't had such great food in a long time, and I love Thai, but this menu was quite the exception!! My boyfriend had eaten here before and suggested I try the Pad Kee Mow, which changed my life!! haha! I was savoring each and every bite, sipping a great Chai Tea, and enjoying the unusual young lady singer who kept us in stitches! I believe her name was Dylan Patrello. I hope to see her play again as her show was so authentic and enjoyable!

Wow! I am SO glad my friends told me about THAI STAR restaurant over on Midway in Addison, Texas!! I Love Thai food, and have tasted most of the Thai restaurants around this area, where I grew up. BY FAR this is THE BEST and certainly the most UNUSUAL THAI FOOD around! I had a new dish I had never eaten before called Pad Ke Mow, which was just beyond words! I didn't say much during dinner as I was so blown away by this amazing Thai dish!



Besides the awwesome food, there was this great female singer named Dylan Patrello that kept us thoroughly entertained and chuckling at her funny, quirky lyrics and delightful music she wrote, composed and sang! I tell ya, this gal is going to be a STAR! Catch her act anywhere she is playing...and get there early as she tends to pack the house early! See her YouTube Channel...DylanPatrello. Quite the find, and worth going to see!!



SO, If you love Thai food as much as I do, PLEASE TREAT YOURSELF and discover Thai Star---and bring your friends if you have the Urge To Impress!! Thai Star WILL IMPRESS!! The service is also excellent, and the owners, Mark Long and his wife, Chef P'or, take great pride in making you feel right at home and cater to your every need!



I WILL BE BACK AGAIN...WITH MY FRIENDS IN TOW! This is a treat not to be missed--THE FOOD and the ENTERTAINMENT! Reminds me of the old days of the Greenville Bar & Grill with the Monday Night Blues Jam with all that FRESH, NEW LOCAL TALENT!
