Afton Public Schools comprises of a grade school and many junior and high schools. Its curriculum includes language arts and reading, social studies, mathematics, science, fine and performing arts, foreign languages, computer application and physical education. The school offers sports activities including softball, football, baseball, girls and boys basketball, cheerleading and weightlifting. The high school has an art and science club and a music band. The high school also has a student council and a national honor society that rates students by scholarship, leadership, service and character. Afton Public is based in Afton, Okla.
