Finished my repairs the same day. Great local jeweler, very helpful and knowledgable.

The owner, I found, to be, extremely, arrogant, and the prices he charged for a simple repair, he should have been wearing a mask, in my educated estimation. He gave me no estimate, and the repair was so simple and short that I'd expect he'd be fair. I told him as much and he said that I had to pay him for his knowledge. To drop a battery into a watch, I didn't think you'd need to graduate Harvard, and he said to give him back my watch and he'd undo everything that he did, (which, also, included him putting in two mismatched twenty dollar screws that he provided, that quickly, fell out within an hour of my leaving his premises). I, literally, was afraid to let him touch my property, again, so I told him that he must need the money, very, badly to be so unfair and gouging, and to just keep it, but that I'd never return and I'd tell my friends and acquaintances to avoid the place like the plague, which I've done, and will continue to do.
