I found my precious bunny rabbit Max here and we had a wonderful ten year relationship. Finding him at this shelter was the luckiest day of my life.

My healthy, loving, yet very exited and high energy dog was taken to this shelter by my mom after I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. At the time I was in a wheelchair and my home life had been turned upside down! Keeping a sweet, yet hyper dog like her was just too much for my husband, myself an our kids for that time. Well, sadly to say we went back to see what ever happened to her, and they told us she was euthanized!!! I'm very sad because she was not vicious AT ALL!! I'm in remission now and my prayer was that I could just maybe see my baby again, but thanks to them, never! I think it was all because she was a pit bull mix and they just do it as protocol! If you ever are in a bind, and for some reason can't keep you dog, ESPECIALLY A PIT BULL!!! Always look into rescues first! Wish I would if known of these places before my baby got taken for no good reason! I feel so guilty!!! Bad rep!! Please Adopt, don't breed!
