South Aiken High School serves more than 1,000 students grades 9 through 12. The school offers classes in music, mathematics, English, science and social studies. Its foreign language department host session in German, Spanish and French. South Aiken High School s curriculum also focuses on accounting, industrial technology, and family and consumer science. The school provides a variety of sports activities, including soccer, cross-country, football, swimming, tennis, golf and volleyball. In addition, it operates a guidance department that provides information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. South Aiken High School offers membership options for the National Honor Society (NHS) and the Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FFCLA). The school is governed by the Aiken County Public School District.
