Provided by YP.comThe rudest and most heartless people work here. I am from out-of-state; Saturday I ordered a large arrangement for my cousin's wake, which is tonight. Ivy Cottage called me 4 hours before the wake started to tell me they could not make up the order as it was shown on the website (a $170 funeral spray). When I asked what flower substitutions they intended to make, they became extremely rude and dismissive. I asked if there would be a price reduction - i.e. you can't substitute daisies for roses and charge the same price. I was told no, they charge by the STEM, regardless of the type of flower. !!!!!!??????? I was handed off to another woman - equally rude - who told me my order was placed "late" and I reminded her it was placed 2 days previous. She said they had other funerals to take care of. Not my problem. She wanted me to cancel the order and I refused since at this late stage how would I get flowers? She finally agreed that she had roses and lilies (which first woman never mentioned) and could do very nice arrangment. I agreed but we'll see. I also notified funeral home since they list this florist on their website - they were extremely upset but apparently not too surprised. Avoid these people like the plague - especially if you're from out-of-state trying to send flowers to your family.

Provided by YP.comYou would think when someone orders flowers and pays for a premium arrangement you would get something that is bigger than the picture that shows a standard arrangement. It even says in the description that premium is larger with more flowers (shows a picture). Well I paid $20.00 more for premium and the arrangement my mother got was exactly like the picture for standard.
So I called, the Ivy Cottage and never in my WHOLE life have I ever been treated so rudely!! Youy'd think I was trying to rip someone off. I was told she didnt know what I ordered and that there was no way they were going to replace the flowers today, it would have to be tomorrow. Lot of good tomorrow was going to do me, today is Valentines Day, not tomorrow! Then she had enough nerve to actually ask me what did I want her to do about it.
No, don't do anything about it! But hopefully this will let people know that what they picture and call standard and what they call premium...well buyer beware
