Never interested in trophies, still I took my 11-year-old granddaughter to the Tic Toc Trophy Shop as she had missed her class tour of it. The owners were so accomodating! Not only were we shown all the processes and given a thorough history (It had once

been a clockmaker's shop - hence the name.), we also had the opportunity to watch actual engraving.



The entire shop was neat and clean which really impressed me, along with the extensive display of trophies and placques, frames, just all sorts of engraved ideas. It also carries sportswear.



What particularly caught my eye was a placque with a photo on one side and an engraved commentary next to it. I had photos of my son with each of his children and a letter he had written to them 8 months and 8 days before he was hit and killed by a car. Could Tic Toc put a similar placque together for each of the kids, with the picture at the top and the letter at the bottom?



To make things difficult, I wanted the actual letter on the placques, not an engraving, even if in a beautiful font. It had to be in their daddy's own hand.



They weren't sure but they would give it a try. Well, they did an excellent job!



What a beautiful present to my son's children, ages 11 and 9, they will cherish their beautiful placques forever.
