I recently went to A White Pond Paradise Salon & Day Spa for a full highlight. I spoke to them on the phone about how much it would cost, and it was determined that it would be $60.00

As I watched the other customers drink their coffee, I was wondering why I was never offered any, like they said they do there. I finally asked if perhaps I could have a cup. She brought a half full cup to me that wasn't hot, and told me that she would perk another pot.

She then began to put 5 foils in my hair, even thought I asked for a full highlight. There was barely any conversation between us, which i thought was rude. She never asked me how exactly I wanted my hair or anything. Little did she know that every time she walked away to go "do something", I could see her in the mirror behind me getting a facial, and then getting her makeup done...while I just sat there... with the FIVE foils in my hair. It was absolutely ridiculous. She never brought me another cup of coffee either ( I assume she was too busy with her face?)

She finally came back from her facial and makeup application to rinse my hair out. After that she said i was "good to go". I laughed to myself when I looked in the mirror when i realized I looked like a wet dog. How could they honestly let someone walk out of their salon looking like that?

I was beyond mad, but do you know what made it worse? When the lady at the front desk continued to say "That will be $100.00" I asked the woman, "Do you see this? Do you see my hair?" she didn't say anything because she knew it looked like a complete mess. Even if the total still came to $60.00, i wouldn't have paid it. I mean five foils? Come on!

I would NEVER recommend going to this place. Worst service, rude people, and an overall terrible job!
