I went to get a used tire. The owner told me $50. I thought about it and decided not to do it, because I only need the tire for two weeks. As I was leaving, his employee chased after me. I told him there was another place I could get it for $35. He said that he had a $35 tire. I said ok, and he put it on. He asked for the $35 when he was done and a tip. I thought "sure, why not" and gave him $40. I then handed him another $5 because he went above and beyond...or so I thought. As I went to leave, he stopped me again. The owner was standing there and said "You don't do that. You still owe me $10." So, basically, this employee lied to me and I had to give him another $10...forgot that I had given the employee $45. So...I ended up paying $55 for a $50 tire that I was told would be $35. Don't trust any of these people, especially that gimpy legged employee.

Stay away from here! My wife bought 4 tires from here one afternoon. The next mourning she was leaving for work and found both rear tires flat! I took her car down the highway driving 10mph on the rims because I could not even put air back in them, and I tries too. I got there and when the guy replaced the tire, he wanted to charge me $40! This is just the day after my wife paid $160 for the previous ones. The guys said pay me $40 and we will forget the rest! The following Saturday we want back because we were having trouble with the back tires again! I would a year clear of this place!

I was traveling through the area and was in need of one tire due to a belt coming loose on my current one. I was in a hurry between cases and on my way to Tuscaloosa. I pulled in and asked about the specific size and was told that they had one left. I took it and was on my way. Paid $42.00 for a used tire which I thought was high. This was on a Wednesday. On the following Sunday I was in Jasper AL and started feeling a rough vibration briefly and all of a sudden the tire blew and pulled me off the road. I was able to stop only feet from hitting a guardrail head on and also almost flipped the van over due to the ditch's embankment being so steep. Needless to say I was livid, and it only gets better. I went to get it fixed and found out that the tire that they put on the van was for "trailer use only". What the crap! The place I went to get another tire stated that the tire was dry rotted on the inside and that it was a "re-tread" he said that its about as bad as he has ever seen. Needless to say I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!! If you do, double check to make sure the tire is rated for vehicle use. I almost DIED because of their negligence!
