Salsa tastes like someone washed onions and served the left over water. Ground beef is watery. Small portions. Carrots, potatoes, and zucchini in the rice? Cold, tacky, uncomfortable atmosphere. Not very clean. Bathroom door did not even having functioning lock. Wish there was something good to say, but I've not found a worse Mexican restaurant in the area. On top of all that, would not allow use of coupon after having already eaten.

This was not only the worst Mexican food I've ever had, but the worst food period. After tasting it, I didn't even eat it! The beef tasted like low grade meat without seasoning. The salsa lacked flavor as well. I would not recommend this restaurant and am surprised they can keep business with food that bad and so many other restaurants to choose from in the area.

I live in Alabaster and I am happy to have such a great restaurant right here in my neighborhood. Mr. Osmen and his staff do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and providing excellent service, while not seeming to 'hover' over you. The food is fantastic! There's nothing like it around. There are warm, fresh tortilla chips & a wonderful salsa for starters. (hot &/or mild, your choice) My favorite entree is their quesadilla, chicken or beef and lots of melted cheese. I've tried their chicken with mole, their burritos, sopa de pollo, chimachanga's - it's all great! Recently, I tried the flan for the first time, a dessert a friend shared with me. It was so good I know I'll be ordering another one soon.

Best Mexican in Shelby County

This is my very favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff is always friendly, the food served promptly and the margaritas delicious. I always get the chicken chimichanga. It is filled with loads of white meat chicken topped with the best white cheese sause in town.
