As the eldest contractor in Alameda, Nielsen Electric, Inc. was launched as a one-man operation by Tom Nielsen during the depths of the depression.

Tom's son, Eric A. Nielsen and Wife, Diana Traini Nielsen eventually took over the business in the 1950's.

The tradition carried on as Eric and Diana's children Eric Jr. and Sidney learned the family trade as teenagers and continue to work in the business today. Now their Granddaughter, Diana Nielsen Henneman works alongside her Grandmother in the office.

Nielsen Electric, Inc. specializes in all forms of electrical systems, especially the older homes within the East Bay.
