live in an area without high speed internet via cable or broadband. my choices were pretty limited, but the line-of-site internet offering works reasonably well north of Salida, where I am. I will continue to stay with them because my options are limited to Satellite or this, and the other line-of-site internet service provider in the area is awful. My main issue is there is no technical support outside of traditional business hours (8-5 M-F). If you are down on a Friday night, well don't expect help until Monday. The internet connection is unreliable for streaming services. I regularly get booted from games because the internet goes inexplicably idle (World of Warcraft, Netflix, etc). I rarely every get close to 1.5 connection speed which is what I pay for. The only way to improve the service is to reboot the hardware and sometimes even the computer.Customer service is good. The staff are friendly and helpful when you can talk to them. Latency is acceptable, so you can play online

I had Amigo for over a year now and all I can say is to go with some one else. Every time I call them (frequently), it is never their problem. It is always something on my end. I upgraded my computer memory, used another browser software, etc. Still have the some old problem, bad response. I am really getting tired of playing Solitaire between responses. II am going with another provider.
