Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is dedicated to bringing the citizens of Southwest Georgia the highest quality health care available. We continually improve our programs and services to more effectively meet the growing needs of our citizens.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the citizens of Albany, Georgia wanted to build a hospital. Within seven years it was a reality.
Today, we continue our legacy bringing the finest medical talent and technology to the citizens of Southwest Georgia, and serving all citizens of the community regardless of ability to pay.
The North Campus Emergency Center is a Level II emergency center staffed by highly-trained physicians who provide 24-hour care, seven days a week.
Lending support to the physicians is a team of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, paramedics and support staff.
Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital North Campus is a DNV accredited hospital.
