I purchased my bridal dress from Annette’s bridal approximately 38 years ago. I had a wonderful experience. My dress was absolutely gorgeous. I chose a dress that was $800 and for that day and age, It was quite a bit of money for my widowed mom, but it was absolutely gorgeous! After ordering my dress in off white and in a size that would fit me at the time, I went on a huge diet and lost 30 pounds and changed my mind to white. I decided on the color change early so she was able to do that quickly, but when I went in for my fitting she almost fell over and wasn’t very happy with me that I had gone down 2-3 sizes. However, she altered the dress herself and it looked stunning! She is an excellent seamstress. Wish I could still fit into that dress, LOL. I’m sorry to hear she is experiencing some cognitive problems, but I believe there are some things you never forget, and her craft is one of them. Good luck to all the new brides!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I left crying one Saturday while shopping for brides maid dresses for my sister's wedding. I made an appointment and specified the designers we were considering, but when I arrived nothing was ready and no one helped me. I was told to go in back & start looking through the warehouse of dresses on my own.

After I picked a few out & went to a dressing room - a glorified closet with no space - I was in my bra and underwear when the owner opened the curtain and said to someone else "I'll just put these in here" while putting dresses in my dressing room. She didn't even say "excuse me" or knock before embarrassing me. Then she again opened the curtain without knocking or saying "excuse me" and told me I needed to hurry up because they were very busy. I had been in the room for 10 minutes at the most - struggling with dresses by myself. Then she accused me of not making an appointment - I corrected her - but she told me again to hurry up.

Finally, she insisted that I not write down the item numbers of the dresses because "the product id numbers on the tags are different from the numbers on the website" - a flat out lie.

I left crying - I have never been so angry and hurt.
