In a nutshell, here's what happened: I went there to get a small, short term loan on my laptop computer. The guy looked it over, threw some cash up on the counter, said "here ya go", and tried to walk away with it (the laptop computer).

I politely explained again that I was not selling it and was only seeking a small, short term loan, and that I would need a receipt.

WOW! it was like somebody flipped a switch! He instantly became extremely rude and disrespectful. He flatly refused to give me a pawn ticket or receipt of any sort, and told me to take the cash or get the F*** out.

So, I left without a loan, but the scumbag didn't cheat me out of my laptop computer either.

THESE STATEMENTS ARE TRUE AND FACTUAL.

This place is the biggest ripoff I have ever seen in my life! They try to give you a ridiculous offer for your extremely valuable items (while insulting you, telling you they are worthless), then they tell you it is 100% interest (for example a $300 loan will cost you $600). As any normal human being with any sense in their head would, I refused and then I was told that I had made an agreement with them and that if I tried to leave with my items (mind you, there was no agreement, and no money was given to me), they would call the police and have me arrested!!! Long story short I had to call the police to make them give me back my valuables. Please don't ever set foot in this god forsaken place!!! Nothing but a headache from start to finish. The pathetic excuse for a human being that owns the place should be arrested.
