Dr. Charles Nichter is a pediatric neurologist whose clinical specialty encompasses a range of motor and movement disorders. He is primarily focused on treating children with neuromuscular diseases, such as muscular dystrophies like Becker, Duchenne, and limb girdle dystrophies. He also has a special interest in treating patients with tics, tremors, and Tourette syndrome. Dr. Nichter is passionate about utilizing a team approach to optimize patient outcomes: When treating patients, my goal is to develop a team of specialists that would include case managers, pediatric neurologists, and neuro-rehabilitative therapists and physicians, said Dr. Nichter.
