Dr. Erin Crosby specializes in urogynecology, pelvic floor medicine and reconstructive surgeries. She treats patients who have pelvic floor disorders, such as urinary and bowel incontinence, prolapse of the vagina, cervix, bladder or uterus, and fistulae. In particular, Dr. Crosby specializes in doing complex pelvic floor surgeries without the use of mesh. She was drawn to Albany Medical Center because of the level of care provided to patients, the growing department and residency program, and the opportunity to be involved with resident research. As a member of the Albany Med Faculty Physicians group, Dr. Crosby is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and serves as the Assistant Program Director for Research. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Gold Humanism Honor Society, and International Urogynecological Association. Dr. Crosby also spent time in underdeveloped areas of Ecuador and Mexico to provide clinical and surgical services to those in need. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of women of all ages with pelvic floor disorders.
