Dr. Listman serves as the head of pediatric nephrology at Albany Medical College. He completed a residency in Pediatrics from?SUNY Upstate Medical University Syracuse, NY and nephrology fellowship Children's Hospital, Boston; MA. He specializes in the care of children with a variety of acute and chronic kidney diseases and hypertension. He also has the expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex glomerular diseases in children. He has a particular interest and expertise in the evaluation and management of acid-base and electrolyte disturbances. Dr. Listman serves the special needs of pediatric patients who require renal replacement therapy including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplantation. Dr. Listman is an outstanding academician and has authored multiple abstracts and papers. He is one of the best teachers in the area of pediatric nephrology and regularly teaches at the renal pathophysiology course of Albany Medical College.
