Heros is the best Japanese restaurant in the Capital District. I have tried them all. The others do not compare.



Deep fried foods are properly cooked. They know the frying oil has to be hot and fresh to cook the food crisp and not geasy.



Take my word for it and try them for a luscious dinner. If you doubt what I say, try them for lunch. No disappointments here..ever..no matter what I've ordered!

A few years ago, Hiro semi-retired and sold this restaurant. Although it was good before, it's even better nowadays. Most of the staff is the same, and Hiro even shows up on occasion.



Most anything is good, at least from the many items on the main menu.



I stay away from Teppan Tables as a rule...I go for the food, not the show...so I can't rate the food.



Especially good: The green beans with garlic appetizer.
