I went to the store to buy gifts for my bridesmaids, I found Michael Kors bracelets that I liked, but they only had two in the store. I was assured it would be quick and easy to order the remaining bracelets and have them sent to my house. I placed the order and was told I had to use card and not cash. The following day I noticed my bank account appeared to be charged twice. I called customer service, the woman I spoke to said that's just how they do it. The first charge is just a authorization and holds the money in your account, the second charge is the actual payment. She said the authorization "hold" will be lifted in four days! So basically I can't touch my own money for four days, and have been left with $4 in my bank account to get me back and forth to work for the rest of the week. The customer service rep seemed very uninterested in my complaint or situation. No one explained to me that I would be charged "double" and would have to wait days to have access to my money.
