My wife passed away at the end of the service was not giving the cards people dropped off for me in my name or in our sons name who is four years old also the prayer candle, the prayer cards, the guest book, or the thank you cards. There may have been more I'm unaware of I would not know like I said we were excluded from that part of the service. For all I know they gave them away to a complete stranger. It's now almost a week after the funeral and I still can't read words of comfort from loved ones or stories they wrote down or pictures the shared. Thank you New Comer Funeral Home for making a already hard time harder for my son and I. Then New Comer stated on every site I reviewed them on in the past week about my horrible experience as a paying client. "We've made our Albany staff aware of your messages, and they intend to continue to communicate with you to find a resolution. We appreciate your feedback and send our condolences during this difficult time." Then after some research found this is the same computer generated response many other unhappy clients received New Comer just changes the name of the city. Shows how much they really don't care about their clients and probably don't even really read anyone's complaints. On top of that it's just a lie!!! Like stated earlier it's been a week and no one has contacted me to try to find a resolution. New Comer Funeral Home is out to just make a greedy dollar off death and your sorrow. Then give away everything you pay for to someone else and even exclude you entirely from the giveaway. To simply exclude us from that part of the service and just giving stuff away to someone that is not her next to kin or did not pay for the service is inexcusable in my eyes from a professional standpoint and moral one.
