Dr Minton has practiced Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery for over thirty years, and is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society of Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Minton received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. After completing his internship at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Denver, Colorado, he served two years as a general medical officer in the U. S. Army. Following military service, Dr. Minton was accepted into the prestigious dermatology residency program at Duke University Medical Center. Following his training at Duke, Dr. Minton spent another year at the University of California Medical Center Department of Dermatology working with a renowned medical research team and studying dermatological surgery. Colleagues and patients describe Dr. Minton as an attentive and professional physician and surgeon, who treats each patient with compassion and dignity. In addition to general dermatology, Dr. Minton has a special interest and expertise in dermatological surgery, including surgical removal and treatment of skin cancer and malignant melanoma, moles, and other dermatological abnormalities, including their cosmetic repair.
