Provided by YP.comDealing with these people was a nightmare...already stressed about sick kitty and their main focus was racking up the charges...couldn't even be bothered to clean urine off kitty or recheck kidney values even though they had charged me a ton of money...won't let you into treatment or hospitalization area so who knows what they're doing back there ...find anywhere else take your sick pet

Provided by YP.comMy dog was admitted. They took $1200 for an over night visit ( with one ultrasound). I never got to see a doctor upon discharge, never got a call back after multiple messages. It is truly sad that this is the care you receive for your loved ones.

Provided by YP.comABQ Animal Emergency Clinic is the best after-hours care and surgery clinic we've ever been to. The doctors are amazing and the staff attentive. After being overcharged and mis-diagnosed at VCA, we tried this place and that was several years ago. Although, we have our full-time vet, we've had times when we had to go to the clinic for after-hour care or for specialist treatment. This place is impressive and their costs are reasonable. We have 4 dogs and a cat and other than our normal vet at Sandia Vet Clinic, this is the only other place we'll go!!! Thanks ABQ Animal Emergency Clinic for all you do!!

Provided by YP.comI have been using this emergency hospital for almost 10 years now. It's good to know they are there, any time of the day. I like to leave their number for my pet sitter when I go out of town...just because you never know if something will happen! I've always had a good experience with the front staff being friendly and helpful and the doctors are wonderful too. I would definately recommend them if you have an emergency and are looking for a place that really cares about your pet.

THEY KILLED OUR DOG... Took our diabetic chocolate lab in on a Sunday in a diabetic coma. They wanted to keep her for a 12 hour period. Kept saying how many critical patients they had. Basically they tossed our dog in a cage, and let her lay there. We went to pick her up at MIDNIGHT and it took them until 2:00 to give us back our dying dog. Billed us over $400. By the time we got our dog to our regular vet Monday morning, they said she was too far gone to save, and we had to put her down. I called the hospital administrator, who said she would check into it and call me back. She did and said they were busy over the weekend. She then said she would look into our problem and call me back. SHE NEVER DID. A LL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! Other pet owners were also upset that evening.

While it wasn't an emergency, I did need help with my cat. They got me in and out in less than five minutes, at a great price! Thank you to the two who helped me. My cat thanks you, too.

Provided by YP.comIt's difficult to find you in the phone book because your name is not listed correctly on your sigh. Also a phone number on your sign would help. Most businesses do it now.
Otherwise, your services and facilities are GREAT!

This place is DANGEROUS. During an emergency visit, when my cat was bleeding through his urinart tract, their DVM Shellee Roe told me to contact another of thier DVM's, Jennifer Strasser. I tried, but then the front desk help would not contact the doctor for me, telling me I had to get a referral from my regular vet. (((Keep in mind, this was an emergency visit, and I had already paid them over $1,000.00 for treatment of this cat for this problem.))) That's right, the receptionist would not let me talk to either doctor, nor would she connect me with the office manager. You can imagine, I was infuriated, since their doctor told me I needed to get Strasser to do an ultrasound to determine the cause of the internal bleeding!!!!
