Provided by YP.comReally wish I'd read the reviews prior to buying anything from this place. I bought what I was told was a Zuni bracelet in sterling silver with turquoise. After less than 2 months the bracelet started to flake (NOT TARNISH). When I went to several different people I was told that the stone was a chalk component and the silver nickel plated. When I went back to the store I was treated as if I had no idea that 'that's what sterling silver does...' Needless to say I was encouraged to ask for my money back - Ilene the owner was rude as well as Holly. Holly had the NERVE to try to charge me for a buffer cloth!!! In any instance I do plan to report them to the BBB as well as the DA's office and just "chalk" it up as a loss (pun intended). Sad, bad way to do business....that's what I get for buying from an overpriced tourist trap...

Provided by YP.comI had a wonderful experience at Art on Warpath. I can't remember the name of the girl who helped me, but she had some beautiful tattoos. She was very helpful, knowledgeable of the jewelry including the stones and artists, and patient with me while I decided on a ring to buy. I did have an issue with the first ring I bought (stone was loose), but their jewelry has a 6-month guarantee, so make sure you hang on to your receipt. Exchanging the jewelry was hassle free, and I love me new ring even more. The prices are very fair too. I would definitely shop here again!

Provided by YP.comThis store is one unfortunate reason why Old Town Albuquerque has a slightly bad reputation. It is just another tourist trap run on a bad business model. The employees are not allowed a lunch break, and the bland, chintzy merchandise is expensive. There is no mutual respect between the owner and employees, and the customer pays for it.
I have lived in Old Town for years, and am finally getting around to reviewing the bad places because I am fed up with some of the things I see. I love Old Town, I want to preserve its integrity - I only wish the owner of this place felt the same way I do.
