This was one of the best breakfast biscuits I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot. The cook was excellent, the food done to perfection, and the biscuit complimented the innards.

I did not feel like driving all the way to Central & Wyoming for a really good burger, so tonight after reading all the supposed to be "great" online reviews about Blake's; I thought that I would give it a try for the very first time. To my disappointment - It wasn't as good as I thought it would be {did not meet my expectations}. Nonetheless the enviornment is very clean and fast service. I must note that the Strawberry Malt Shake - went hard :)



The burgers just didn't match up to Griff's Hamburgers located @ 8516 Central SE Albuquerque, NM 87108 (505) 255-6130 (near - Wymoing).

Being a former resident of Texas I thought that the Blake's would have the really good old fashion greasy top bun & greasy burger that I am used too! (Hum) However, now that I am a native of NM the closet (mom & pop) burger joint I could get is Griff's. So when I ask for a {greasy burger w/ greasy top bun} it get's about as close to Texas as it can get.



Being a former Texan I only new about Jalapenos & Habaneros and ate green chili on my

(green chili chicken enchiladas ) but became more familiar with green chilies when I moved here. No matter what hamburger diner you choose don't forget to "all ways" ask for green chilies - I'm hooked. I give Blake's a 2 1/2 average, but for ratings a 3 star.
