What a difference! My oldest son attended Old School of Driving. My youngest just finished up with Chamisa. NO comparison. It is obvious that the teachers at Chamisa are professional educators. Although they don't have regular day hours (they all teach at schools in ABQ), my phone calls have always been returned in a timely manner. They are flexible and understand the craziness of student schedules. Melissa shared with me that they tend to reserve Sundays as their day off for their own families and I respect that! I also learned that if any driving school has a class that is 2 weeks or less, it's illegal. Report it to the state (Old School). She took her time with me on the phone and answered all of my questions about the Real ID changes.

Both my children have attended this driving school and received excellent instruction and are both good, safe drivers! These instructors instill confidence in new drivers and they help students to be organized when working with MVD! I highly recommend them. Teresa A.

I signed up my grandson here for driving class. Just want all parents to be aware that when you pay for 7 hours of driving class this means a 2 hour driving period for two students. One students drive for one hour and then the other so your child or student actually gets only 4 hours of actual driving time. I sent my daughter to McGinnis and should have driven the extra miles to take my grandson there instead.

Excellent driving school!

My son recently attended Chamisa and I was amazed as to how caring, and professional the instructors are. He taught me things I didn't know! I highly recommend this school. The price is great, and includes the MVD tests you'd otherwise have to pay extra.
