I already had a Cricket phone (Idol 3) and was considering getting the new Idol 4. I asked if my old phone could be unlocked if I bought the new one sale person looked at my account and told me, "It is probably already unlocked. If it isn't you just call Cricket and they will unlock it." So I bought the new phone and guess what . . . old phone was not unlocked and Cricket would not unlock it! The salesman LIED to get me to buy a new phone. If I'd waited another 30 days the old phone would have qualified to be unlocked. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Will look to unlock my phones using unlock codes you can buy on EBAY and will switch carriers.

DO NOT GET A CRICKET!!!!! First they got my address wrong, I had to go to Fed Ex and pick it up after about 4 calls to straighten it out. Then I could not port my current # after Specifically asking if I can. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!! It is worth paying more to have a compitant company!!!!!!

You can not get a real person to save your life. This is the worst customer service. It is very frustrating to try to talk to a live person and no one responds. I tried every number for Cricket including the 800 number and could not get anyone on the line.
