Provided by YPmobileI recently had my hair done at denova, and could not be more un-impressed with my experience. I was referred here by a co-worker and decided to give it a try, not only was the salon hard to find, parking was a nightmare, (you had to pay and I did not get it refunded) but it was hard to get in touch of someone on the phone to help me find the salon. When I walked in I wasn't sure if it was a discount outlet or a salon, there was no receptionist nor a waiting room. It was filled with out of date fashions and knick-knacks. I was expecting products and a more relaxing environment since the salons website was more about promoting an all natural lifestyle. I also thought it was odd to offer salon services that had to be booked a fee days in advance, if you are going to offer massage and facials i recommend that you have someone there who can take appointments when people want to get it done. ( it was also very un-professional that there is not a room to do it in ad well, the owner told me that they put a curtain over the window in the back and you and the person doing the service are the only ones in there) I decided to not judge a book by it's cover and got my hair done. I felt that it was a less than satisfying experience seeing as how I was booked with the lead stylist. It seemed that she was the only stylist, my color was not what I wanted and my cut is awful. My highlights were chunky and my haircut looked like something my daughter could have done. I had to pay another stylist to fix what she did, I will not be returning nor recommending this salon. With the location, decor, and talent in this salon it was a far cry from a relaxing, very disappointing.
