It offers information regarding crime prevention fingerprinting, concealed weapons, missing persons and information technology. The department additionally issues the copies of accident reports and maintains a sex offender registry. The New Mexico Department of Public safety is headquartered in Santa Fe, N.M., and operates an office in Albuquerque, N.M.
