Called 3 times to have rental agreement extended was told 3 times that it has been extended but yet they continue to take $100 a day out of my bank account they took out more then what the whole rental cost. Call down there very hard to understand Punjabi I think I'm going to return this car in Epic fashion. Hahahahaha

After reading the prior 2012 review, I realize that nothing much has changed other than the dings and other damage on the VW Tiguan had been covered with small clear plastic stick-ons so at least I didn't have to be that mindful of prior damage. Of course, it looks awful. Although I reserved a mid-size SUV, the VW is far from it. It's like a mini-SUV but, according to the counter rep, that was all that was available other than upgrading at more expense to a full-size. By the way, I have never hated a rental vehicle before but I hated this VW the entire time I drove it. I also got the pitch (more like argument after I refused) to purchase the "full-coverage" insurance. As far as filling the tank before return within 10 miles, since I am familiar with ABQ you either have to exit the expressway or take a surface street at some point to get gas within 10 miles of the airport. I normally don't use Dollar in ABQ. My mistake this time. Some other rental car company will get my ABQ business from now on.

I will never rent a car from this company again!!! Picked up a car from the ABQ airport location that looked like it had been through a war! Had to call their parking lot attendant over and insist he go over the numerous dents and scrapes on the vehicle, and note the damage so I would not be held liable. Drove the car from ABQ to Santa Fe and a motorist was waving at me as I traveled down I 25 at 70 mph. Next morning noted one of lug nuts on front tire was not all the way on. No customer service on weekends, so I called their road service. Really messed my day up as I had to wait several hours for someone to come with a different car and exchange them. If you do rent from them do not take the pre-pay for gas option! The way they try to rope you into this is they will tell you that you MUST show a receipt from a gas station WITHIN 10 miles of airport If you choose to refill yourself. If you do not refill you will be charged a whopping 8.95 per gallon. I was determined to find a gas station within 10 miles on my way back to airport, so did some internet research before I returned car. Folks, take the Gibson East exit and right off the exit is a phillips 66 station! It is then an easy back on I 25 South to exit 221 which is the ABQ Sunport. Turns out the parking lot guy was NOT EVEN interested in the receipt after all that, just checked to see that tank was full! Beware of the agents at their counter when you pick up car, they will tell you all kinds of stuff to get you to pay an extra 40 bucks to take that prepay gas option.
