It is estimated that in the next 5 years, over 500 million computers will be thrown in the landfill. One cell phone contains enough hazardous chemicals to contaminate 40, 000 gallons of drinking water.Enchantment Electronic Recycling is New Mexico's most high-tech full service electronics recycler. We employ the most advanced material handling machinery in the state of New Mexico, to ensure the highest level of environmental excellence. We are the oldest and largest electronics recycler in New Mexico and our team of trained professionals is highly capable of handling your old electronics in the safest and most effective way possible.Enchantment Electronic Recycling was opened for business in September of 2005. Starting with a 1, 000 square foot warehouse and a 2, 000 square foot yard, we began recycling computers for commercial and residential customers. By April of 2006, we had run out of room and had to move into a larger facility. In April of 2006, Enchantment Recycling operated out of a 4, 600 square foot facility with a 2, 000 square foot yard. We are currently operating out of a 15, 000 square foot facility and are handling 230, 000-280, 000 lbs of electronics every month. We also now offer recycling of fluorescent lighting.
