My foam roof was installed in the late 90s. The roof came with a 20 year warranty. Since then, the company has reorganized into 2 companies, A New Millenium Sprayfoam Roofing and Ex-el Shell Systems.



Neither company will honor the 20 year warranty.

My foam roof was installed in the late nineties, The roof was supposed to have a 20 year warranty. However, Ex-el Foam reorganized into two separate companies, A New Millenium Sprayfoam Roofing, and Ex-el Shell Systems.Neither of these two companies is honoring my original 20 year warranty.

To say that the people at Ex-El, both the workers, the office staff and their supervisor, who may not actually exist, are the most incompetent people I've dealt with in Albuquerque in any capacity would be a generous understatement. Not only did they fail to install my foam roof within a reasonable time frame (Ex-El required nearly three months to complete the roof installation), the quality of their work was horrendous and their repeated attempts at correcting problems with the faulty installation were all ineffective. Anyone who wishes to avoid disaster would do well to avoid Ex-El.

This was the worst mistake I ever made! These people were constantly late, left a large mess, and now, one year later my entire roof is one big swimming pool with water weight of thousands of pounds. My swamp cooler has no drainage as it was not raised enough when the foam was put down and is very difficult to service. When I call for help, my calls are not returned. If I do succeed in reaching the roofer, I am told someone will ;look in a few weeks "if they remember". Please beware of spending your hard earned money.

Tried to get someone too come out and give me a estimate, even called back and asked if they were interested in my Job! Never heard from anyone! No wonder people go out of business.

It rained again last night. And my roof is still leaking. Ex-El Company installed my foam roof about eight years ago. Since, I have had numerous leaks. I'm down to only one area of my roof leaking. They have now been out to my home four times to repair this particular leak, which is under warranty. And it continues to leak. Each time they come out, they assure me no more leaks. I have lost all confidence in this company. I will now pay another company to come out and repair my leaky roof. So much for the wonderful warranty program.

I am a local general contractor and I have worked with this co. for many years now and am convinced that they know their stuff. I have the highest respect for the owner and how they stand behind their product. I will be using them on a renovation to my own home and converting to their insulated roofing system for my entire home. I have recommended them to several clients and friends with nothing but good things to say about them.Mr. Doug
