Founded in 1959, J.B. Henderson Construction Company is one of the largest general contractors and one of the top mechanical contractors in New Mexico. Established by Jack B. Henderson, the company commenced operations as an architectural services provider. More than 40 years later, JBH offers architectural, mechanical, pipe and sheet metal fabrication in addition to design/build services. Its customer portfolio includes University of New Mexico, Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory and a microelectronics firm. The company boasts the capabilities to perform nearly 85 percent of contracts with in-house personnel. JBH employs some of the best suppliers and subcontractors throughout the state. Its experience extends beyond New Mexico to areas such as Colorado, North Carolina and Costa Rica. Headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M., J.B. Henderson Construction Company also has offices in Los Alamos and Rio Rancho, N.M.
