If you are a property owner or renter Gail Doty will steal from you. Her acolytes, Rebecca and Mayra, happily suckle at the cancerous teat of Gail; slum Lord, liar, thief. They should all be in jail. You should do your best to avoid them.

I lived in an apartment managed by this company for many years. It was nothing but headaches from the start and the headaches got worse and worse. Doty, the owner is the most reprehensible property manager on the planet and she will sink to extreme lows (poisoning tenants with mold, threatening eviction for no reason - over and over and over. Do NOT have anything to do with Lane Properties. I don't know why she has not been investigated by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission. Hmmm. Gotta go! I don't live in their sh!t hole anymore so the mold poisoning isn't a threat anymore. Don't expect ANYTHING from Doty except headache after headache. And if you're a member of the LGBT community you'll love the way her bigotry is always there, just under the surface, spurning her into harassment, harassment and more harassment. LANE PROPERTIES SHOULD BE A NO BRAINER - STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE OR DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU.

Provided by YP.comIt took over 2 weeks for Gayle to fix our air conditioner. I'm 58 yrs. old with health issues and when I called to tell her the A/C was making noise she told me to just turn it off and "open a window & hopefully there will be a breeze". This was when it was extremely hot this last summer. I ended up in the hospital ER for heat exhaustion. When the bathroom floor was leaking she just ignored it for a long time. When we had to call back the plumbers to show them what was leaking she sent us the Plumber's bill and expected us to pay it. Then, she left it to us to pay for the repair work to the wall and floor or it would probably never have been repaired. She is quick to attend to some tenants and others she will ignore or hassle, depending upon her mood. She shows up at your door with absolutely no advance warning and will harass you for no reason, especially if you are democrat or gay. If she does not like you, she will decide to evict you for no reason. She once tried to evict us, but did not have a leg to stand on; she just doesn't like us and has been harassing us for the last 8 years. Moving for me (because I am handicapped) would be an extreme hardship, but Gayle could not care less about her tenants. Do NOT rent any property that Lane Management represents. I cannot remember a worse landlord in the 40 years I have been a renter. She will threaten to evict you if you use foul language or do anything that upsets her and her own personal likes and dislikes and is known to speak untruths or make-up things to fit her own liking. She lost the keys to our apartment and made us make a second set for her. She does not know how to manage a building or how to deal with people.

Galye is very rude and unpfessional. They dont send statements without being reminded, there are questioable charges that seem bogus, and they dont take pictures of your property twice a year like they are supposed to. if you value your property g with another company

Provided by YP.comI'm a property owner and rent through Lane. I have to constantly email them to send me forgotten statements that they should be sending out automatically. I can't prove it but I think they are making up damages to the property to bill me. When I looked at the property the item they said they replaced looked to be the same as before. Gayle can be extremely rude over the phone as well. Go with someone else!

Worst customer service I have dealt with in my my life so far.
Gayle is VERY RUDE! Very difficult to get in touch with, and rarely returns call.
Very unprofessional and worst of all, she lies a lot more than you could imagine.
I live in another state, so I just put up with this company for five years. For five years, never had a single luck with tenants which always leaves my property with tons of problems and unpaid bills and unpaid rents. All tenants leaves/abondons my property before or soon after the lease agreement. WAS VERY DIFFICULT ON MY PART, as I have to pay my mortgage continuously. I am now using a (large) management company, and everything is working great, with a bit extra $$'s management fee.
