They overcharged, and the service manager was defensive and condescending when I asked to simply see the problem. This is one of those shops that goes hunting for things to pad their bill. They try to perform unnecessary work. Will not be going back.

My family and I have been coming to see Ken Keifer for many years now with our vehicles. We have always been pleased by the fairness of prices, the honesty of Ken and his crew and the AWESOME repairs that are done in a good timely manner. I would not trust our vehicles with anyone else. If your looking to change your mechanic or check out a mechanic for the first time..Give Ken(owner) and Larry(front desk man) a call..you won't be disappointed.

I have a reoccurring problem with my car. The first time I went to McKinney they did the same repair as I had gotten from another place but for significantly less. When the problem came back 3 months later they dealt with it for free even though it was past the 30 days in which they said follow-ups would be free. They always made a point of explaining the problem and all my alternatives to me before doing anything with my car. I highly recommend them.

If I could have given a below zero rating I would have. Don't trust this shop, its an absolute rip-off, unethical and unqualified to do the work. I had $$$$ work done here and should have looked into their local rating first. After I had them do a lot of work on my car - I discovered they are not thought of very highly in the auto repair community and have had lawsuits against them for their horrible work - -and found out I had been charged $2,000 +more at this shop - and who knows what else they messed up on my car. They broke some parts of my car that will now have to be replaced - I wouldn't go back to confront these thieves, as I'm SURE they're the kind of shop that breaks or cuts something in your car to make you come back so they can get the job to fix the problem. May they go out of business!!
