Best Italian food in the metro

On my first visit I wasn't very hungry, which is a bad time to think italian food, butr a friend had invited me and I didn' want to say no. I rather jokingly asked the waiter if he thought the chef woul prepare something not on the menu. He went to inquire and came back with a yes and what did I want. I love pasta in olive oil with fresh basil. It is a favorite of mine from days spent in Rome. It was delicious. Don't remember my firend's choice but he raved. For the quality of the preparation I would hardly call it pricey. My second visit was equally as satisfying and tomorrow evening I am taking a friend to celebrate his new job. It is as good as anything italian I ate in Italy or in New York. Mimmos is a delight.

I've lived in the same neighborhood with Mimmos for years and I'm happy to say that it's always the same. The service, the food... they have the BEST Alfredo with Chicken! Yum! You want a chain restaurant go somewhere else. You want to be treated like family.. go to Mimmos!

Best in the city. Great food, great service, can't go wrong.
