Over more than ten years, functioning as an independent Professional Roofing & Waterproofing Specialist Consultant, I have had an opportunity to interact with not only National Roofing's management, but also several of their contracting crews. They call themselves the premier roofing company in Albuquerque and I wholeheartedly agree. That is not to say that every aspect of their work always goes well all the time, but never does National Roofing not go the second mile (and then, when necessary, the third mile) to correct problems to my satisfaction and the satisfaction of the building owner. They are a respected and trusted contracting firm without question.

COMPLAINT AND REVIEW BY A SENIOR CITIZEN’S INTERACTIONS WITH NATIONAL ROOFING IN SANTA FE/ALBUQUERQUE (September 1, 2013) . These are facts. I invite you to make your own conclusions whether you want to hire this company.

1. May 2013: a representative of National Roofing in Albuquerque, as a part of an estimate, cut a hole in my roof to view what was underneath with a guarantee that the patched hole would not leak. All materials under the roof were completely dry. AFTER HEAVY RAINS, MOISTURE LEAKED INTO THE CEILING IMMEDIATELY BELOW THE PATCH.

2. August 2013: the rep inspected the patch. He also noted a slight disturbance on the surface of the tar patch where I gently touched the tar that very morning to see if it was hard. However, moisture in the ceiling was visible for weeks previous. I asked the rep if he wanted to look at the damage ceiling immediately below the patch, and he declined. The rep assured me that if it can be demonstrated that the patch did fail, National Roofing would repair the damage ceiling.

3. Two days later the roof was removed. The area underneath the patch was soaked, a condition that was witnessed by three other individuals, including a licensed professional roofer. The area where the representative patched was the only area in the entire roof that had moisture underneath.

4. I wrote a certified letter to the National Roofing Owner and CEO; the President; The Chief Financial Officer and the rep explaining the above in detail, included pictures.

(If I painted the ceiling, the total cost for repair was estimated and only $300.)(on September 7, 2013, the repair person lowered his price to $150! .)

5. Through their representative, the owner responded with a letter saying that National Roofing has no responsibility for the moisture damage.

6. I requested a personal meeting to discuss the matter in a professional manner. The owner or his representative never responded.
