I went for a cleaning at Cottonwood Dental Perfect Teeth - They informed me I required more than just a basic cleaning. I agreed but asked just for basic today due to financial issues. They still wanted to provide a quote. I set there in the room staring at a wall for 50 minutes. I was told after 20 minutes they are still waiting on ins quotes. I just wanted a cleaning covered under my ins. After 50 minutes I walked out as I couldn't bare to spend another hr in the chair getting the cleaning. I arrived at 11:40 and left at 1:40 and all I got was an ex ray and Teeth gums measured by doctor. Which took 15 minutes. The rest was waiting.

BEWARE! The dental care provided by Dr. Lance at Perfect Teeth on Central for my 70-yr old parents was terrible! The dentures he "fitted" for my mother, after pulling her bottom teeth caused extreme pain for weeks. She was completely unable to chew solid food. The ill-fitting dentures made her bottom lip protrude as if she had cotton balls in her mouth. He never corrected the problem, but kept telling her that "she would get used to them over time." They also charged her for follow-up visits. After she lost weight from a lack of eating solid food, we finally convinced her to see another dentist who confirmed that the dentures from Dr. Lance were crap. She now must buy a new set of dentures. From what I've seen Dr. Lance runs a very shoddy practice. My mother had a Perfect Teeth insurance plan for more than 10 years.

This place is a total rip-off....

This place is a total rip-off. They recommend treatments you don't need. Then they hit you with surprise bills after the fact -- months later. The work I had done was supposed to be under $150 for my share, after insurance. I paid them that amount up front and thought it was taken care of. Three bills and a lot of hassle later, I ended up paying well over $400 -- after the insurance company paid their share. I have used the same insurance at other dental offices and never had this problem. What a scam.

Free identity theft and gossip session while you wait!

Dissappointed. Period.

Took my daughter for an appt and the "service" is a joke. I understand this office doesn't specialize in pediatric dentistry, but my issues are more with the actual front desk staff.

While waiting in the lobby with other patients, I could CLEARLY hear the receptionist(s) talking negatively about each other AND about patients that had just left or were on hold waiting for help. And if you want to steal someone's identity, the Perfect Teeth lobby is the easiest way to do it! See, while you are in for your appointment, the receptionist is calling the insurance company with all of your personal info to verify coverage - birthdate, SS#, address, etc. so us lobby lizards can hear it all! Such a warm, fuzzy environment, grrr...

And lastly, don't count on going back with your kid EVEN IF THEY TELL YOU that you can. I found my daughter crying in the hallway after her appt. and they wouldn't even tell me how her appt went! I had to ask 3 times how her appointment was, if she had cavities, needed anything else, etc. This dentist was recommended by our insurance.

Thank You

“Thank you so much for being so patient and kind to me. As you know, it was not easy for me to sit in your chair-but you have actually made me feel proud of my smile for the first time in about 30 years. I can’t wait to see the final product. Thanks.”

painful tooth

We have insurance, Perfect Teeth fell under the list. We were referred to the place for a wisdom tooth to be pulled. So got it checked by Dr. Morlend, good info from him, gave me a list after to what needs to be done. So we approve what we see. The doctor knows that I am taking medication for myself.

Our pharmacist will not take prescription from other doctors unless from their own listed doctors. So Dr. Morlend prescription is not honored at the pharmacy I go to. Therefore, Dr. Morland calls my doctor to have them do the prescription.

My surgery was the following day but have gotten no call back this Tuesday morning to get my prescription.

I speak to Yolanda, there, all she does is fax over paperwork to elsewhere so she won't have to deal with it.

Carrie from the "other" office call me and wants my pharmacy number. So I tell her that the prescription is not honored there at the pharmacy we go to. That was the reason why they had to call my doctor to make the prescription. As for the hospital I go to they do not have dentist, so I have to go elsewhere.

I tell her that I need him to call me back by 12 o'clock (why? because I won't be at the number listed). I tell her that we are given the run around since we first got to Perfect teeth, if no one calls me back we are going to have to go elsewhere. She says "He'd be happy that you go elsewhere" I said how do you know that, she responds back with false statements from another person. All the information she gave me was from another patient. So because she was disagreeing with me she made remarks to the doctor to have him terminate the service.

So my service is now terminated just because they have poor communication and Carrie is upset because she was wrong.

My family and I will be going to another dental location which is way much better than the Perfect Teeth. Thank you Carrie for your "wonderful customer service". You have just lost your employer several customers as well as future.

I'm so glad that the review options are available to us, so that we may never make a mistake by reading others reviews.

Thank you.
